I am trying to simply add songs to my mp3 player and they all appear on it but are blank when I play them!!

Within LW tools > options > saving will show you the location of your saved folder. This is where you must add from.
If you go to your LW library, click on Saved Files then Explore... your saved folder will open for you & you can add to the player from here

Post back if things still aren't working!
