Problems with limewire 4.12 and mcaffee antivirus
 

Despite permitting all inbound and outbound connections in McAffee firewall settings, it keeps flashing up a connection alert whenever I try to download any file. This neve happened with limewire 4.11 (or whatever the previous version i had installed was). Has anyone else had this problem? How do i fix it?

Try deleting your previous firewall setting & redoing it. Configure your firewall so it allows LW full access (advisable not to have 2 active firewalls b/c they can interfere with each other); Firewall configuration instructions (click on link)
