Crash problem.

You see, I had the free version of LW and I upgraded. The free version rarely had some crashes, but since I upgraded, LW pro, keeps crashing every time i open it. Let me explain my actions: I connect on the Internet regularly (note that I have a 56k modem), and open LimeWire. It loads normally, and it works normally as well. However, after some minutes (between 2 and 15 min. since I open LW. Also, when i'm not searching it goes normally for about 30 min. until it crashes) the program stays frozen and I'm clicking everywhere with no response. If I minimize and maximize it, i get a blank screen. If I close it with task manager, the system continues to react slowly to my actions, or crashing, leaving me with no options but to push the reset button.

What is my problem?

Any help would be appreciated.
