Unhappy Limewire shuts down all by itself?

I am new to this forum so I hope I am posting this in the right place
Anyways I have had limewire for awhile now and all of a sudden it just started shutting itself off. I can not figure out why, I can start it right back up and it runs for awhile and sometimes it will shut down again. I have only my virus scanners and firewalls running when I use Limewire, I shut down all other programs. I have already scanned for viruses and I found none. Like I said this just started a few days ago. I have Windows XP home edition and I just bought the computer about 7 months ago. Please if you think you know why it is doing this please let me know I appreciate anyones help... Thank you

Go to add/remove programs & remove your current version of Java. Now reinstall JRE using the offline installer
http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp

Delete LW's preferences folder (make sure LW's properly closed), see points 2 & 3 below
http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=36420

Now reinstall LW using the offline installer

Have you installed or updated any antispyware lately? If so, make sure LW is on the list of exceptions/allowed apps. Or disable any antispyware you're using & see if LW stays open

This is a problem that I don't know the answer to. But you can try some of the fixes in the link below. Try the .limewire fix. And if that doesn't work try uninstalling and reinstalling Java.

You beat me birdy. No bananas for you.
