The Virus has another name!!!

I like many of you probably have run into a rather nasty virus that will cause your LW to open back up every few seconds...and no matter what you do it still opens back up.

Well I first tried the wonderful adviced from the Sticky, but I couldn't seem to understan why I wasn't locating the file "winupdates.exe" and that's because my computer was infected by a different variant of the virus...

The one that I was infected with was "taskmgr.exe"

and just like the other one, it won't show up with your anti-virus or firewall scanners because it has a microsoft-like name....

I did however, follow the exact same steps in this thread

and everything was deleted and working fine now....

just thought i'd share this info, incase anybody else seems to contract the virus I did....
