SPY-WARE or NOT?

Is either this version of limewire is a spyware or these programers are being forced to distribute this GATOR spy-ware.

This version sucks. If the gator component is supposed to be optional, while does the limewire program exiting prematurely when GATOR is not installed? This is to tell you that the creators of this program are being forced to make users install it or for their good deals??

I think they should tell the users about this or nobody should download the new one again.

Who cares if it has spyware or not, since limewire has moved away from simple java programmes and are now trying to tie it to gator and installshield it no longer works anyway.

Spyware cannot spy if you can't run it in the first place.

I'm sticking window 1.7 until Limewire get's its act together and releases a new version that runs pure and simple on the Sun java engine, no 'install shield' no trying to link it to external windows stuff.
