This is sort of related..... I do not have limewire but I do have itunes. I was listening to music last night and all of sudden the administrators' itunes music folder popped up on my comptuer. I was online as well but not on itunes or limewires' site. Why did this happen????? I have a network and I do share my itunes folder between 2 computers.. If I could see his folder, could he see mine? Just concerned how much of my computer was accessible although I have firewalls and encryption in place........ Thanks for your help.

Only the iTunes playlist! If you're concerned then disable sharing options within iTunes.
For windows that's Edit menu > Preferences > Sharing.
For mac that's preferences (,) -> Sharing.

But then again, since it's a network & he is an admin of the network, then perhaps he can open your desktop. But certainly not via iTunes.

Sorry, i wasn't very clear....... It was the Limewire admins' itunes library that appeared, and I could listen to it. My network is my personal in home network between my laptop and desktop, no one else has access. I was going to shut off sharing but then it defeats the purpose of having itunes to share 1 library between 2 computers (or more apparently). Thanks for your help.
