Limewire Opens Startup Screen, Then "Crashes" Recently installed the newest version of Limewire 4.12. Download and installation worked perfectly fine, as did the earlier version of limewire I had before updating. However, once limewire is done installing itself, I double click the new Icon and the startup screen appears e.g "Loading Library window", etc. And then It doesnt open anything at all. I tried re-installing Java, uninstalling limewire, about 4 or 5 times, I've tried almost everything this forum says to do yet, I STILL CANT OPEN IT. Very frustrated. I also went about changing the compatability properties, restarting the computer, doing about everything I can think of, shutting down the firewall, deleting the versions of ".limewire" etc. This is extremely odd because less than a day or two ago I was using an earlier version completely fine. help asap please! thanks. |
