AVi to DVD help please Hello. If i transfer a downloaded AVI file to a CD will it play on my DVD player? The DVD player can play most CD & DVD extensions. Or will i have to convert the AVI to a different file type then tansfer it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Yours truly, Charless. :rolleyes_2: |
Impossible to tell without more info If you don't have the manual for the DVD player then try googleing it for more info on what format it will play These are good places to find converters www.videohelp.com www.digital-digest.com P.S. Why don't you just try to burn it to CD-ROM or DVD and see if it plays ? |

:D I asure you the worse that can happen is that you ruined a CD/DVD. Your DVD player will give some error or do nothing at all if it doesn't work. |
Just tried it as AVI and my DVD player played it perfectly! Thanks for the common sense Sleepless  |
Good to hear :) It is actually a fact that the answers right in front of you are often the hardest to spot. Been there myself many many times :D |
How do I reconnect "Pins" in a video I've downloaded. (In lay man's terms please) |
Pins ??? what format is this? I do a lot of video and have never seen "Pins" anywhere Is this some sort of error ? Please clarify If it is an error then post the exact wording of it |
It happens when I go to convert video from .avi format. It will tell me that it is unable to perform the operation because the pins aren't connected. (It has only happened twice, but I want to be able to fix the problem instead of redownloading) I use RM avi to vcd, svcd,... |
Not familiar with that converter. Sorry Try this one on the files that don't work. It's free and from what I hear it's good as well http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html |
