After uninstallation i get a Java popup..
 

it tells me i have corrupt installation..yet it pops up after uninstallation:

Uninstall LW and all Java versions on your system. Reboot and then download the JRE offline installer of the newest Java version from here:
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/download.jsp
Install it and reboot again, then reinstall LW.

same problem
 

i have the same prob i did the reunistall but now i can not have the program not on (its always on) when i log off it logs back on as fast i as i log off and when did a uninstall it left most the program and i had to delete it manualy and reinstall it so how do i fix the problem i dont like to run limewire all the time because it slows my ineternet speed some of the time

Your problem is different. From what you say it sounds more like you have a virus. Read here:

yea i did do a reinstall of all my windows and i had a worm im not goin to install limewire untill i get a good antivirus the invection got to bad i had to reinstall and run f disk and delete everything i had

didnt work

Did you reinstall using the "Offline" LW version? Also try steps 2-3 & 5 here Fixes for Limewire
