![]() I have recently upgraded to Limewire Pro and everytime i try to use it it loads up fine then proceeds to take up 99-100% of my processors capability. I would understand if i was using an old computer with a pentium 1 or something equally as slow but as i am using a 2GB processor and have 1GB RAM i cant understand what is going on. I dont have much knowledge of computers but i am more than certain this isnt right, can anyone help sort this problem? Obviously i just dont bother using limewire just now. |

![]() I have the same problem. seems no one has answer for this. I beleive is glitch in program. deleted it myself. Personally upgrade is total waste of money - since does'nt do what it says it does. Reload basic if have file. It will work better. check out thread below yours. That may ahve answers. something about removing preferences form files. good luck |

![]() I've been having the same problem. I have a 2.4 with 768 mb of memory. Even if that is the only thing running it will make my cpu usage 100%. Looking thru the forum, it looks like several people have the same problem, I'm using LW basic. Another thread mentioned checking you incomplete downloads, but I have no incomplete downloads either indicated in limewire or in the incomplete folder on my hard drive. When I start it up it runs just fine, but after about 5-10 mins it goes to 100% CPU usage. I've been thinking about upgrading to pro and I used to leave my computer on with limewire running, But I can't do it when it's like this. Hopefull the people from limewire will read this thread and help us all out. |
