Are the files downloading by themselves? What kind of file are they & how big?

In LW tools > options > saving will show you the location of your saved folder...check in that location & see of they're there.

Have you run a scan for viruses & also for spyware & adware?

i download the files to my desktop so i transfer them to my ipod or wherever, but the files are generally 800kb, and there are hundreds of them, they used to be under a folder that i could access through my library, but its not listed anymore, and the spy ware programs i have (spybot, ad-aware) do not detect them

Well, unless someone else has a better idea, sounds to me like you might have a virus... are they .zip or .rar files? Does the number increase all the time?
Have a read through the sticky below
