Exclamation please help: browser won't work with LimeWire's support functions

when i click at <<help>> nad then <<forum>> the page doesn't show up.also when i click bitzi help it doesn't work and when i click <<about limewire>> and try to go to the website www.limewire.com it doesn't work.is it some connection problem.what can i do??

Sounds like it might be a setting in your web browser. I don't think it's a LimeWire problem. If you have the security settings too high it might not allow you access to certain sites. Also some security programs will block certain sites also. It's prolly something to do with allowing cookies, but not sure.

one other possible fix.

Go to Start>Set program access and defaults.
click on custom
choose default web browser
Choose one and press OK

This has worked for some

Default won't work

i have tried to do what you told me but it won"t work.could it be because i have the norton antivirus?should i change the options so that my browser can work from limewire?

And antivirus should not effect your ability to browse. You should try downloading a different browser than the one you are currently using and try that. If it works then we know that the browser itself is the problem If it doesn't work. Well then the problem probably is somewhere else.

Do you by any chance use IE7 right now? Have heard that some others are having problems using that browser with Limewire.

Pick 1...or 2,3 hmm you decide
