trying to launch/view downloads and LM shuts down

I downloaded new LM v 5.2.13 and now every time I try to view or play files LM completely shuts down!!
Windows xp home

Have you used any other LW 5 versions without this problem?

Does it happen with both audio & video files?

Which player are you using?
