Internet is Much Slower Now

I recently purchased and downloaded MP3 Rocket Pro 4.9 and LimeWire
4/12/6. Ever since then, my internet connections are much slower to load. I had Comcast come out check internal and external cable connections and they replaced my modem They could find nothing abnormal. All the readings were good.

When I first called them they told me that the readings coming in looked good but those going out were very slow (should read 55 millisomethings and they were getting 500-600). This got me to thinking maybe as Limewire was working in the background that it was slowing me down.

I have no connection problems with either MP3 Rocket Pro or Limewire and have downloaded music with no problem. To try to speed up my Internet connection I "disconnected" both programs but noticed that MP3 Pro continues to upload at about 50-60 kps.

Could there be some sort of confict that I am not aware of? Any ideas?
