Try just searching using artist or album. This might cut down on the amount of fake files you'd see in results as well

If you're getting a blank results page, that's a bit different. For this type of problem, follow the advice in the thread below

What happened when you tried to download a file from magnetmix?
Did you make sure that LW was completely closed when you deleted the preferences folder?
Have you used any other p2p apps before & if so, were there any problems?

Give us your details please (click on link for more info)
System details - help us to help you

It could be something to do with your ISP. Since you're firewalled, it could be something to do with your modem/router. Who knows????
If you'd give us some details, we might be able to help a bit more:wink:

hint - go back to post #4 where I said "give us your details, please (click on link for more info)"

Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface?

Try an experiment, try downloading a magnet link from here http://www.magnetmix.com/video.shtml & tell us what happens. All you need to do is click on one of the download links & LimeWire should then handle the file.

Edit: I did some searching around. I can't find anything that suggests your ISP is filtering (other than the link below), but that doesn't mean they don't filter or block p2p sharing. Clearwire who you probably know of, do shape bandwidth for p2p sharing.

But Eircom apparently are shaping for Bit Torrents: http://yro.slashdot.org/comments.pl?...3&cid=14655408
