Exclamation Limewire causing graphics problem!!

plz help!!!

whenever i open limewire it will make the computer screen go to black and then come back with the graphics on the computer changed from high 32 bit to low 8 bit.

i can just go to display settings and change it back and no harm done. limewire works fine and doesnt cause any other problems on my computer, but it just makes me curious why it would do this on my computer, but not anyone else's that uses limewire as well.

plus limewire is the only downloading program that will work on my computer, all other ones will not connect to their networks for downloading. i have tried downloading other programs like Ares to see if they would mess up my graphics as well, but they just wont connect at all so the only one i can use is limewire, which i happen to enjoy, but dont really enjoy it changing my graphics all the time.

also when i have limewire opened and i play my downloaded songs i have the default player set to windows media player cause the built in one in limewire will not work on my computer. when windows media player opens up to play songs through limewire, it does the same thing. screen goes to black and then computer graphics are messed up. using windows media player on its own does not cause this.

is there some setting on my computer i need to fix or something? does this happen to anyone else?

any help would be greatly appreciated, its just starting to become a pain fixing my graphic settings all the time.
