 dvd rip??? is there a player or decoder or codec avail.... Ive Got Like 15 Media Players And Who Knows How Many Decoding And Converting Utilitys But Nothing Is Playing Any Avi, SOME MPEG.. Or Dvd Rip Files....any Suggestions Or Recommenations On Either A Way To Convert Dvd Rip To Playable Or A Player That Will Play Dvd rip...also Its On A Win 98 System ....most utilities Seem To Be Xp...thank You Last edited by floriadsun; October 30th, 2006 at 03:20 PM.  |

| MPlayer can play individual VOB files. VLC can play dvd's but doesn't have full implementation yet for everything such as menus. Both MPlayer & VLC will play avi's, mpeg 1, 2 & 4, divx, xvid, mov, etc. And both programs are open source free programs. Support open source projects!   For VLC follow the instructions for supporting such a program on win 98. MPlayer I'm not sure, you may need to download an earlier version & there's links for that. But try out the latest 1st. |
