Exclamation Limewire crashing

Limewire crashes about 30 seconds to a minute after i try to search with it, I can sit there and download for as long as I want but as soon as I try to search it'll search for a while it finds stuff and whatnot, but crashes if a search is left open for a while. Anyways thanks for any help you guys can give me. Oh and it doesn't give me any error or anything it just disspears and I have to run Limewire again to resume. Also sorry if this has been asked before I'm new to the forums and hadn't seen anything like this.

Try these fixes. Remember to make notes of your settings if you delete the preference folder. Everything will go back to default.

If that doesn't work then try this Java Beta:

http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/ea.jsp

If still stuck then post all details/info that you think might be relevant

It just leaves everyone guessing if you don't give more info

(The ones above are guesses as well)

I gave all the information I thought was relevant, and it seems to be that java was the problem, so thanks a bunch man. I appreciate it.

You're welcome

It's just that when we don't get system specs. Limewire and Java version, Long time user or beginner etc. It's pretty hard to come with an answer that we know is the correct one.

You were one of the lucky ones where the easy fixes worked
