Exclamation limewire automatically starts

My limewire automatically loads up and when i close it will still start up by itself. Yes I already unchecked Tools> Options> Advanced> System Startup. I already read some posts which stated that it was some sort of virus. But i don't understand what i have to do. It's kinda complicated to me (I ain't good on computers). So my question is, is there an easier way to fix this? Is it really important to fix this? And if i don't fix it, in what ways will it harm limewire or my computer?

This is the easyest way. Doesn't work for everyone, but nothing bad will happen from trying.

You can't leave your computer infected. Yes, it's important that you get rid of the worm. If the fix that Sleepless suggests doesn't work, then go to Norbiesworld. Follow the directions for free computer help, post a hijackthis log & ask Norbie to check things out for you. He's really good.

You need to make sure that you're using a good AV. Keep it updated & scan every file that you've downloaded before you open it.

Usually holding down F8 key when rebooting will give you the option to boot into safe mode
