Sounds like you have a virus. Click on the link below for more info. There are various fixes to try too
WARNING: Viruses on the network you should be aware of

You could also try this fix, it's worked for some people
http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showpo...&postcount=141

If those fixes don't work, or you don't feel confident to try them, you can always go to Norbiesworld & get some free computer help.
If you go to the site, register & follow the directions for free computer help, Norbie will check things out for you.

Always make sure that you're using a good AV program. Keep it updated & scan all downloaded files before opening.

If you're completely sure you don't have a virus, ok.
Just that the LW constantly popping up is a symptom of a virus & so is a continual popup showing Java errors after uninstalling LW.

Default Limewire wont uninstall

i am having problems ever since i opened up a corrupted file from limewire..limewire will start up automatically and wont stop no matter how many times i exit from it..also its messing up my computer a bit as well...i tried to uninstall it but it says the installer i am trying to use is corrupted or incomplete...and i might need to contact the owner for a new copy...why cant i just delete it and start again???? what do i do now?

If your computer is infected, uninstalling LW won't do any good. The virus remains. You can uninstall LW but will still get errors popping up.
Please look at post #2 of this thread.

You really need to listen to what Birdy has advised you...You have a virus and running 2 AV's together is cause for disaster as they will clash and wont protect you at all....

Well you can ad-aware and Spybot as much as you like, but just to prove us wrong, try this fix. Then afterwards you can say hah I still got a problem (...or can you?)
