I HAVE A NEW SONY 4 GIG mp3 PLAYER AND THE SONGS HAVE BEEN STORED IN MY LIMEWIRE ACCOUNT. THE PLAYER ONLY ALLOWED 200 SONGS AND IT SAYS ITS FULL. SONY SAID YOU SHOULD ONLY USE A 128 BITRATE WHILE TRANSFERING TO THE MP3 PLAYER. SOME SONGS ARE MUCH HIGHER. CAN I CHANGE THE BITRATE TO 128 FOR ALL MY SAVED SONGS ON LIMEWIRE???? |

newbie Hi all, Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas, and Happy holiday season. I've had some problems, but only with one item. No problem downloading, but when I go to burn, the buffer says 98% and it burns properly....however, when the buffer says 97%, it always gives me a burn error (write error) and I am wasting too many cd-r disks. I thought if anyone had an answer as to why it does not always burn at 98% they could share it with me. I'm on a Dell computer, with plenty of memory and ram, and using Windows XP pro. Again, my only problem is how to get it to burn at 98%. :aweof: Thanks and ho ho ho....time for Santa and snow to come . Arnold |
FILE Descriptions My first impression of this network is that it is cumbersome and top heavy. Do we need this boilerplating everytime we want to start a new message. Aside from that first impression here is my problem. When you look at the files under the Search function you see zipped files with a size of 113K. You know the program is larger than this and when you download it and unzip it, it contains a setup.exe file. If you click on this, nothing happens. In general there are many files out there which do not represent the whole program. Am I missing something in downloading these files? thanks |
Hi, I'm not sure we're on the same page. No idea what you need, but I'm still having problems burning. Tried speeds as low as 16 and still get failures. Am wasting disks with no good reason. Gonna look into another program for burning, and see if that helps. My unit should burn at 48k. Thanks to all for help. Arnold |
birdy, I couldn't find your post...could you send it again ~ thanks Arnold |
