Shared folder bombs!

Help! I've downloaded an .avi file and when I go to the shared folder it bombs and Windows Explorer has to be shut down. I've since renamed the file AND moved it to My Documents. Now when I try to open My Documents, THAT bombs!! What is going on? This has happened before! I can't open the file in any medial player or that bombs too. Any help would be greatly appreciated, there seems to be some very knowledgable people out here! Thank you!

PS The file was 700+ mb and took forever to download, this is very frustrating!

You should delete it and find another download. If it makes your computer go to 100% CPU usage just by opening the folder, then the file is really corrupt. Tried one of those once, and there is nothing you can do. I have a feeling that they are made on purpose just to fnck up your system when downloading them.

If the file won't delete then please repost. There are ways to fix that.
