 NTFS File Compression(Can I use it With Limewire) Really My title ask's My question,see I did a search but didnt come up with anything usefull so I am posting for help. Will others on the Gnutella Network still be able to download from Me after I have compressed My Slave Drive? Excuse the Newb Question!  |

| No problem.....LW works with FAT32 and NTFS.....I had it up and running under both compression systems....

| compressed? do you mean converted from fat32 to NTFS?...NTFS is a format method, not a compression algorithm...

| File Commpression on WinXPproSPII & Limewire What I meen is I am on WinXPproSPII & I have run out of hard drive space. Now besides the obvious answer(Buy CD's & back up data) I want to know if I can enable"Drive Compression" to make more space on My Slave(D)drive. But I also want to know if it is going to ill-affect the other user's who may be trying to Download from Me via Gnutella(Limewire). |
