Default Complete uninstall of Limewire

I downloaded Limewire Basic to try it out. I decided not to use it and went through the uninstall process (not Add/Remove Programs). However, there are still a ton of Limewire files on my computer. How do I get all the Limewire and associated files off? Thanks.

In order to uninstall any program such as Limeware the registry keys created or altered by Limewire must also be deleted. Some of these keys may not have Limewire in their file name. Can anyone supply a list of all the registry keys for all versions of Limewire, especially the most recent? I am trying to uninstall 4.12.

As ukbobboy01 wrote above, you can use Windows Explorer or a desktop search tool to find all Limewire files, then delete them. Most or all of them should be in the following folders in XP:
C - Program files - Limewire; and
C - Documents and settings -[check each user's folders] - Application data - Limewire.
In these files you will see some registry entries which can be deleted along with all the other Limewire files.
To be sure of deleting them fully from your computer, you can use software that shreds the files, such as Spybot Search and Destroy (Advanced Mode - Tools - Secure shredder). Spybot is also a good (and free) virus checker.
Some files may be resistent to being removed: To be sure that all Limewire files have been shredded, go back to the file folders, check the files and delete again if necessary any remaining files. I had to do this for certain Limewire files.
