Itunes intergration problem

.

but when the shared Limewire folder pops up in my itunes it says that my music files are all MPEG audio files, a type of file that apple wont let you drag and drop into your libary

but when i look in my music folder in limewire it says all my songs are mp3

the Limewire website says that i should just be able to drag and drop my files from my shared playlist IN itunes

any ideas?
