![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Let's say I'm playing a game, like sims or something. Limewire would close by itself, that's ok. But then, it re-opens and messes up the game I'm playing. I am then FORCED to close my game with out saving, and it really irritates me. I would be SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy if someone helped me. pweas?? ![]() |

![]() Please don't double post. In LW tools > options > advanced > system startup. Untick the box to run on system startup > apply > ok. If it still opens randomly, see post #6. And for your chipmunks... http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...ight=chipmunks Last edited by birdy; January 21st, 2007 at 09:14 PM. |

![]() When LW pops up all the time (not just at system startup) & refuses to stay closed, it's usually caused by a worm. Try the easy fix mentioned at the end of point 2 below, it's worked for a lot of people. WARNING: Viruses on the network you should be aware of If you need more help, there are links to sites in point 5 (Norbiesworld has helped a lot of LW users, but at the moment there's a long wait for help). Always make sure that you're using a good AV program. Keep it updated & use it to scan downloaded files before you open them ![]() Last edited by birdy; January 21st, 2007 at 09:14 PM. |
