Lw Tries To Start...computer Is Slow
 

Ok, over the past few days, everytime I start my computer LimeWire starts up right when I sign in...this is not good, for many reasons. One, because my Windows is a 98. Second, my computer is very slow due to a virus er two thanks to my stepbrother and his porn. And three, because MSN Messanger and AIM start when I start my comp, so then I have to restart it because it freezes...

So basically, is there anyway to make it so LimeWire doesn't startup right away?

If LW is running on startup but then able to be closed normally, go to tools > options > advanced > system startup. Untick 'run on system startup' > apply > ok.

But...if it's popping up after you close it & refusing to stay closed then that's a worm.
If this is happening, try the easy fix in point 2 below...it seems to work pretty well. There's also a link to help sites in point 5, in case that fix doesn't work.
