Dlder.exe?

I just installed Limewire 2.02. Aside from the various other spyware that was installed along with it, I found a file called DLDER.EXE in the Windows folder. I can't find any reference to it anywhere via a newsgroup search. I assume this is more spyware. Does anyone know what the file does?

Just to follow up on my own question, after posting I scanned the file with Norton Anti-Virus which identified it as a backdoor trojan.

It is a trojan.

Yeah... same here... Trojan

dlder.exe is a Trojan (according to Norton AV), and it, along with a tonne of other unmentioned spyware, is set to start up with your computer.
Luckily my firewall caught dlder before connected to wherever it was going to connect.

Limewire 2.0.2 makes me sad for the gnutella client community.

I don't care if you install software other than the stuff I download... just as long as you tell me everything that's installing, PLUS give me a way to actually uninstall it.

I'm disappointed with Limewire, and since I haven't seen any performance increase, going to go back to 1.7whatever it was

ClickTiluwin

The trojan also exists in Kazza

It comes from the ClickTiluwin add which is infected with it.

Several p2p programs bundle ClickTiluwin

Also, this trojan was just discovered less than a week ago, so update your virus scanners.
