![]() before, i ran a spyware scan on my computer. durring that scan, i noticed that it picked up a spyware from limewire. i deleted it, now lime wire isnt running. when i click it it says 'cannot proceed due to loss of file: LimeWire.exe'. does anyone know howto resore this file or get limewire working withou endangering any of the songs i have stored from limewire? help is GEATLY appreciated! thanks! ![]() |

![]() If I were you I'd disable PestPatrol & use a decent spyware scanner. Both Ad-Aware SE & Spybot S&D are reliable and free, I use both. ad-ware __(FREE) Spybot - Search & Destroy __(FREE) and there's also AVG antispyware (formerly Ewido) http://free.grisoft.com/doc/20/lng/us/tpl/v5 Your songs are all saved onto your HDD & unless you've changed the saving location they'll be in C:\Documents and Settings\your username\Shared. Check to see if they're in that folder! What I would do is download LW again. Reinstall it. That will automatically uninstall the old version.
