If you've downloaded LW from the official site, there's no malware at all.
What antispyware are you using? Some will wrongly detect LW as a threat (PestPatrol & earlier versions of NoAdware for example)

If I were you I'd disable PestPatrol & use a decent spyware scanner. Both Ad-Aware SE & Spybot S&D are reliable and free, I use both.

ad-ware __(FREE)

Spybot - Search & Destroy __(FREE)

and there's also AVG antispyware (formerly Ewido)

Your songs are all saved onto your HDD & unless you've changed the saving location they'll be in C:\Documents and Settings\your username\Shared. Check to see if they're in that folder!

What I would do is download LW again. Reinstall it. That will automatically uninstall the old version. Make sure to use the offline installer (not the recommended one).

Yes, if they're in that default location they're fine! It's only when people change the location of their saved folder & put it somewhere silly (like within LW's program files) that they run into trouble & can lose files if LW's removed
