Your Saved Folder is not valid!!!! NEED HELP

So when i start my LimeWire i get the error..

"Your saved folder is not valid. It may have been deleted, You may not have permission to write to it, Or there may be another problem Please chose a different folder."

when i click ok.. Lime wire tryes to load... but it never does.. it stays at the splash screen forever on it. it says "Loading Messages" and it never moves but it will always make the processor run more then 50%

Im runing the shared folder on a USB drive so apparently the drive letter might of changed.. so how can i select a different folder when i can't eaven load the program..

2nd i have tryed uninstalling and reinstalling several times... i have even looked in the Regedit to see if anything with the loacation to the folder is their..

PLS Help me..

I have heard of people having problems when they try to share from an external drive. I would avoid this if possible. Try a search to get more info.

How are you uninstalling? You should use the Limewire uninstall option. Uninstalling via 'add/remove programs' can also cause problems.

You could also try some fixes when Limewire isn't running properly (note the part about deleting your Limewire preferences folder).

Hope this helps
