HELP!!!-- All my files have turned to Exe formats and none of the songs will play. I have uninstalled limeware and reinstalled after my virus protector picks nothing up. I have an expensive virus protection system and it picks nothing up. From what i read on here several people have had this happen tely. Has anyone figured out how to fix this?? Please help!

My music did the same thing, but I noticed that the files I had moved to other folders still worked fine. I'm going to try and change the folder that I save my files to, maybe that will prevent whatever virus my computer has from getting rid of my music, at least temporarily. I'll let you know if it works, and tell you how to fix it if I can figure it out.

Try going to your AV programs web sight, then do a on line scan, Your AV may be compramised.

yo i did a scan with avg and i found a worm i opened my limewire my files are still zipped

Your multiple posts are against the forum rules, plus you've posted onto a totally unrelated thread which is a PITA. I gave you links to further help sites in my PM. Please go to one of them & see what they can do for you.

One person said that AVG was able to find their worm & fix their problem. If AVG isn't able to help you, there may be more than one worm/virus going around & you really need to see some experts.

i need help u know im new well like been using it for a month dis jux started i dowloaded a exe file on LW all my music files been moved to shared folder and there is two new folders. ONE:there are zip musics in my shared folder wear my music are dat i have neva even dl before. TWO:there is a zip file dat says"q7q7q7q7q7q7q7q7xx" in my saved files wear my musics are suppose to be. one more info my AVG wont update im trying my best to stop posting but i need urgent help.
