I just installed Limewire yesterday and for a couple of hours it worked great. I looked for the icon on my taskbar so I could check the status of downloads. The icon was not there. I tried starting Limewire again and got a brief hourglass on the screen then nothing. I opened the task manager and Limewire is not listed in there either. It seems the only way to get it working again is to reboot which of course is not a viable option. Has anyone esle had this problem and if so how did you resolve it?

Just check your task manager again, have a look under processes, it's more than likely still running in there....
If not delete your preference folder, the instructions to do this are in this thread...
