Turning off "info popups" I am not sure what to call them but they are those ANNOYING little boxes that pop up with more info when the mouse hovers over a file name. I am sure there MUST be a way to disable them but I'll be dipped in sheep dip if I can find it. If there is a way would someone be kind enough to tell me how? Too Tall Paul :bangh: |
Above your search results, there is a green bar with quality, #, name, etc... Right-click in this area, select 'more options' and uncheck 'extended tooltips' Good Luck  Dano |
Thanks for your help. I did that and seems to have solved half the problem. Now some file names do not have tool tips but some do. This is weird. |
Is this what's happening... The name is so long that you can't see it all, it shows the entire name in a popup box? I don't know if you can stop that. |
You nailed it with the name length. I right clicked on that bar and turned off everything but name, type, and size. The I minimized bitrate, moved type and size as far to the right as I could and it helped a lot. Of course there will always be file names a half mile long but at least now I know what to look for and I can avoid them. Paul |
:loool: So now you don't have popups, but you have to find a mousepad that's a half a mile long! |
