![]() pstores.exe (Protected Storage Service) - Details The pstores.exe process is used by Internet Explorer and Outlook in order to store sensitive information in your computer's registry securely. It is required for Internet Explorer and Outlook to function correctly and so should not be terminated if you use either of these programs. This program pops up in my process firewall when limewire starts and i blocked it because i didnt know what it was- and limewire seems to work fine without it. So, what is limewire using this program for and why should i allow it??? ![]() |
