![]() just for reference it was my first time using limewire and i was just using the search section to get an artist catalogue, then when i downloaded the results i realized i have a bunch of doubles. i know nothing about taking up peoples bandwidth of anything like that, i just wanted to try and get my hands on some good music like everyone else on here. |

![]() GvG Hi. You are most welcome to gather all the files you like using the Gnuttela network my friend. I would just add, that there is a thing called excepted practice & consideration for others. Your Post, Is of so few words, It lead me to believe that you were one of those users that keep popping up on our monitors, uploading multiple same files, this action understandably Bugs people, & some users ban them from their Library. I apologize for getting it wrong, But you could have made your post, so it is clear to understand. I would also remind you to SCAN with AV Program, BEFORE opening all files Dont just stack them in your Library without scanning them, If you D/L a virus It will automatically be shared. When D/L ing many files, I keep my shared folder minimised but open on the tool bar at the bottom, as the files complete D/L they will all arrive at the bottom of the list in shared folder. So you can scan them without having to hunt for them, also you can Delete doubles easy. Peace.

![]() i agree tho.. i had my backup drive go out and crash while downloading a movie and i had only my downloaded files folder on it, and when i had to push the switch to powerdown while others where uploading from me and me downloading and then when i restarted the computer and started frostwire, it said it couldn't use my download list and so forth, i knew i had to remove the hard drive, however i did try to re-install and then same thing, booted into safemode moved all my files from the failing hard drive and then had to resume everything in my incomplete folder because of this, I then found many duplicates and still download a duplicate to this day.. Oh and about that bandwidth hogging thing, i agree, as i have had people try to re-download the same song/file twice from me, however glad i only have 2 slots as it just says upload limit reached... :/ anyway.. |
