![]() Hi, I recently bought Limewire Pro, and I am finding it absolutely useless. I have a 6MB line and up/down speeds set to unlimited in options. I dont have Ultrapeer disabled, all my router ports and software firewall ports are opened and confirmed working. My Limewire reports a Turbo-Charged Connection. I dont have options set to filter any files. Junk filter is off (at least until I figure out whats wrong)..all I seem to get is junk results. .... But yet, I have NEVER seen a file sharing program with such bad search results. The only thing that even returns a result is when I test the search with very common search words like Beatles etc and even at that I might get maybe 150 results in total. (Other file sharing software would return 1000's of legitimate results). Most searches return nothing but junk, and if I filter the junk I am left with zero hits on my search. Is there a reason that its so bad, am I doing something wrong? Thanks for your help, I'm totally new to Limewire so hopefully I'm just doing something wrong. Thanks Bren |
