![]() Hi, I am new to the forum and I've tried to find something similar in the threads, but haven't been successful. I apologise if I have missed something. I am not very au fait with computers in general, so I have a problem that is completely confounding me: I've been using Limewire Basic for about 6 months, with no problems at all. Recently I downloaded a file that my internet security didn't seem to like, and since then, every time I download a video file, it corrupts. If I view it as soon as I download it, i.e. without logging off, I can watch the file without any problems, but , if I log off, the file is stored in the library as a zipped file (that wasn't what I downloaded) and when I try to open it I get the message 'File is corrupt from transfer'. Can anyone help with this, at all? Can I also ask that you try not to use too much techie jargon - I won't understand it. Thanks for your patience Sherry London UK |
