Limewire keeps popping up

I recently downloaded the update of Limewire, and every time I exit it, in like 2 mins it restarts. This is very annoying and I have no clue what to do about it. Please help.

Sounds llike you have a worm.

Try the easy fix mentioned at the end of point 2 here, it's worked for a lot of people.

Always make sure that you're using a good AV program. Keep it updated & use it to scan files that you've downloaded before you open them.

I have had the same worm it's quit annoying i used avg free to get rid of is here it the link from download.com.

OK, I tried the first link, and it was unsuccessful. Even though I deleted Limewire a warning type screen pops up saying "one or more necessary files appear to be invalid. This is generally caused by a corrupted Installation....ect..". I am now downloading the avg, I am hoping that it will work.
