I recently re-installed limewire and opened the program today. I checked my shared folder and was suprised to see my documents shared. I (thinking the "Shared List" was similar to lists one could find in iTunes/Windows Media Player) thought that by clicking "delete" on the files that they would be removed from the LIST and not from my COMPUTER.
I was shocked to find that deleting the files off the list actually deleted the file, and ended up losing a good 40 word documents along with some other files.

is there any way to solve this problem? or are the files gone for good since they were not sent to the recycle-bin
i tried a system restore so far which didn't help
