Losing connection

So, I've everything installed, and it runs great - until it stops. I'm not talking like just limewire loses connection, it completely freezes my internet. Its not taking -all- the bandwidth. My network connectivity icon just fades to nothing (no internet connectivity at all, http, aim, etc). The moment I shut limewire down, it starts working fine. Sometimes if I force limewire to do a search, it will figure out its supposed to be downloading again, but then stop shortly after with the same problem.

Im running windows XP service pack 2 on an intel pro wireless card. Anyone know what's going on?

Try the tips here, but instead of the Java recommended in the thread, try the version in the bottom link. Use the JRE offline installer & remove your current Java before you install this one.
Reduce the drag caused by LW
