Help (LW won't open)

Im new here good day to everybody i got a problem using lime wire just downloaded version 4.12.11 installed it and set up the fire wall to alow lime wire to start ok imusing windows 98 xp when i click on the lime wire icon nothing happens i tried installing and re-installing can someone help
