Help Needed Fast! (songs in My Documents but not LW library)
 

Hi guys I'm new on this forum and in need of desperate help.

Basically, I've lost all my songs. One day last week I turned my computer on as normal, and opened up LimeWire to start dowloading, as normal. A new window popped up saying something like do you wish to share something or other. I just clicked no. Since then I haven't been able to get on at all. I was on Pro at the time and now I have uninstalled it and installed the basic from LimeWire.com. My songs still haven't appeared. All my songs are still in My Documents but I think everyone will agree that it is much easier to play songs on LimeWire without having to open another window for Windows Media Player.

Any help would be extremely appreciated.

Actually, most of us on the forums don't much care for the Limewire player. However, if you want to use the LW player, go tools...options...player and select 'Use Limewire Player'.

If you want your songs to be in your shared folder and play them through LW, go tools...options...sharing and add the folder that contains your music.

P.S. Why do you claim things like 'help needed fast' and 'I've lost all my songs' when you really didn't lose your songs and the only trouble you've experienced is having to have WMP open? It doesn't sound like a disaster to me. ;)
