 2.1.1 on 2K Server sp2 - won't install Okay, downloaded and tried to install 2.1.1. The installer starts, downloads a file, halts for a moment, and then says: "18: Internal Error in Windows Installer." I OK that message, and then this one comes up: "This installation package cannot be installed by the Windows Installer service. You must install a Windows service pack that contains a newer version of the Installer service. C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\_is6B\LimeWire 2.1.1.msi" I'm running 2000 Server, service pack 2, which was the latest as of last week. WindowsUpdate.com doesn't offer any newer updates. Any ideas? -Jake  |
