![]() Have you checked the Properties of the file ? Is it a standard 'archive' or 'Read Only' or some other ? Also... A typical reason for not being able to delete a file is simply because it is "active" at the time you wish to delete it... Prob in this case is that you should normally get a message telling you that ! EXCEPT, some bad stuff masks that message... Most Virus elim progs will also not be able to deal with it cuz they are limited to the same MS Explorer 'rules'... There are some progs out there that can help you with this but they are 3rd party apps and I'd rather not mention them here for now... Hope that you can get a fix through general assistance here first... Sounds like sumthin' bad to me, heh ? Have you tried starting Windoze in Safe Mode and then attempt to delete this file ?
