Lock up

I've been experiencing strange behaviour from Limewire and Clean Limewire where the java process stops responding and takes up 100% of the cpu (running on win2k pro). This usually occurs as soon as I exit Age of Empires game. It may be a conflict with directx since i'm pretty sure it happens when I exit other directx games.
