I do not have Alcohol and I have update java and stuff, i have also tried ever other thing and i still can't get LW to work. HELP!!!!

Uninstall all Java versions (from Control Panel uninstall everything that begins with "Java"). After that install newest Java version (I suggest you download Offline version). That should work.

My brother had this problem, (LW opening and closing immediately) and your help fixed it BaneSerbia. I told him to uninstall Alcohol and Boom LW starts right up and stays up. Thanks BaneSerbia again.

NP! I hope they will change something in future versions so we can use both programs.

Thank you sticky, i had same problem... finally my LW started working... i was not able to analyse and had started getting paranoid...
