Moving LimeWire and files to new computer
 

How do I move LimeWire Pro and all of my "shared" folder from my computer at work to my new computer at home???:confused:

The best way would be to copy them to CD as files :)

You could also e-mail them to yourself, upload them to ftp, use a VPN, a remote administration utility, take your harddrive home, or just do as KathW said and copy them to a CD. I doub't that your work computer has DC-R Drive though.

I wanted someone to explain how to transfer files in some detail via one of the methods you mentioned, for us point n' clickers. I had heard about the various ways, but never asked the question and it would be useful to keep a note of, if this question comes up again.

Is it possible to explain in a 'let me hold your hand fashion' :D
