Can anyone please explain why the options will not show when trying to access it.

Try using AVGFree AV, there's a link for download in this thread.

Remember to update AVG before doing a scan.

If anyone's having this problem, along with LW popping up all the time, there are fixes to try in this thread.

In future, try using the forum search to look for answers to problems

I had the same problem, everytime I tried to click on the options window, it would flash real quick and you couldn't access it or the filters either. I was told on this forum that it was probably a virus and indeed it was, I went to AVG and downloaded that program, installed it and got rid of a whole bunch of viruses, altho the options did work I ended up re-installing everything - wiping out my whole hard drive because other stuff started happening. AFTER I had backed up all the important stuff & reading on the Norton website (Norton didn't catch the viruses) the ones that I had, had infected my hard drive and was causing the things not to work and the other programs to disappear. AVG and ANTISPYWARE are now on my computer and so far knock on wood, are catching all the bad stuff. Limewire and all its features are now working.
