Connecting through SOCKS proxy server
 

Says in the documentation that livewire does not work through proxy.

I have successfully gotten livewire to work through our socks server using Sockscap32 2.2 available on free trial for non commercial use at:

http://www.socks.nec.com/cgi-bin/download.pl

This allows me to utilise my faster sattelite downstream connection. I am currently running windows XP but I assume that it will work for any ver of windows.

PS: When setting up sockscap do not select the limewire shortcut
in the program files directory. Execute what the shortcut does not the shortcut itself.
